Lose Belly Fat

The key to weight loss lies not only in diet but also exercise. If we are to lose the belly fat that we all dislike so much we need to firstly set realistic goals. These goals may be to lose belly fat or just to feel better about yourself. In order to kick start you loss of belly fat program you must first set the goals. Do you want to lose belly fat or go further and lose all your excess weight? Personally I need to lose weight from my chest (man boobs!) my waist and my bottom. Losing belly fat would however  be my main goal as I have forgotten what my feet look like, only kidding; we have plenty of mirrors around the house!

So once you have decided to lose belly fat for good you must set the limitations to your weight loss. Too many times I have started a lose belly fat program with the intention of looking like George Clooney in 12 months. At just over 305lbs this is an unrealistic goal so limiting this belief to just lose belly fat is the way I have set my limitations.

Once you start to lose belly fat it is likely you will feel more motivation to keep going however friends and family can help you a great deal by keeping your motivation up when times are hard. A crucial part of your lose belly fat program is to increase your exercise, this will have two effects if you choose the correct types of exercise. Exercise which builds muscle mass can help lose belly fat as muscle needs calories just to exist. So the more muscle mass you have the greater the calories that you will burn. As you are burning calories any way doing the exercise so it will greatly assist you in keeping the calories you burn greater than the calories you consume. This is the fundamental theory of any lose belly fat program. If your calorific intake is lower than the calories you burn, over time you will lose weight. Patience is the key to any lose belly fat program as it will not happen overnight (however much you wish it).

  1. Belly fat – such a lovely term. Rhymes with my surname. Interesting topic, and they say that fat tissue (adipose tissue) actually secretes hormonal substances that further affect your energy burn/storage metabolism – I’m just going to take the dog for a run while I bike, should do us both good. Keep up the good work. cheers John.

  2. Hello Mark,
Wow, you have worked a great deal on your blog already. It certainly stands out from the rest! It’s amazing how all of us started out with a simple back-ground and now … they ALL differ :-)
Anyway, you are on a good cause, and I assume that your products will be linked to health related issue. Although I decided to focus on my eBay/Amazon experiences, I was torn since my (other) passion focuses on health. By the way, have you heard about PACE? It was an eye opener for me, and since I started the regimen, my overall well being has totally changed (and the weight stays off too). If you would like to check it out, here is the link: http://pacepower.net/index.php (P.S. I am not an affiliate, but he Dr. Sears offers it)
    Best of luck to you!
    Many Thanks,

  5. Hi Mark,

Great topic, I’ll be watching out for your advice. Sitting for too long at a computer sure doesn’t do much for the waistline, or the leg muscles. And all those snacks while I search for inspiration…

How about a weight loss competition for internet marketers?

    Cheers

  6. In repsonse to Sue’s idea about a weight loss competition for internet marketers, I think that is a great idea as I am certain that i would win. As since the materclass course started I have lost 14lbs without trying. i think it is the nervous excitement about what the masterclass course can do for all of us that has actually led to the weight loss.

No all joking aside I do think the post and the idea of weight loss competition for internet marketers is fantastic.

    keep up the good work.

    best regards

    Simon
