The Absolute Acai Berry Experiment
Well Ive done it again. Ive failed at losing my belly fat. Since September 2009 I have increased in weight to what I was three weeks ago, 143.9 Kilos. I am now on the fourth week of my attempt to lose the belly fat and I have lost 1.7 kilos thanks mainly to building a polytunnel on our new allotment. Its hard work buit its doing me the world of good. I need to lose 3.23 pounds this week to have lost half a stone in a month which is a healthy weight loss for someone with a BMI of 45%. I plan in the coming weeks to keep up with the allotment and increase my gym and swim session. I will keep you posted on how I am porgressing. I have also given in to the frenzy that is Acai berry and have signed up for an Acai Berry product that claims to aid dieting. I hope those among us who laugh at such products understand how desperate I have become about my weight problem. I have decided to try anything in the hope I find a product that helps me lose the belly fat. Your blog sounds truthful and genuine and is something that other people with similar problems would like to follow.
I have a weight problem but I am just about to take up running again to get rid of it.
I used to have an allotment but gave it up as everything kept growing too fast & I couldn’t keep up with it!
Funnily enough, I used to yearn after a poly-tunnel at the allotment but was always worried about idiots slashing it to bits in the middle of the night! It wasn’t the safest of sites though, I must admit.

Hi Mark, thank you for bringing my attention to the Acai Berry Experiment as I have never heard of these berries before, and I will watch your progress through this blog. However I would have thought that the best way to lose weight and improve body shape is to just eat a more healthy diet and to exersize regularly. I am always worried about new diets that focus on one type of food because you need a balanced diet to stay healthy surely? Any way I will watch with interest and curiosity to see how you get on with this new diet. Regards Sue.

Hi ark,
I took on a volunteer role in a project and spent every day lifting heavy bales of hay for about an hour and carrying them about 50 yards. I lost 3 stone in a month! Pretty dramatic but I did absolutely nothing else – no change in diet, just a complete change in my physical output.

Personally i`m not really over weight, but i do run low on breath half the time, i guess thats just down to being unfit, but i suppose maybe i should look at my food intake as well?

I to have fought the weight battle mark.
I don’t know your exact situation but I opted for a procedure called the Lap Band.
A very minor surgery that puts a belt around the top of your stomach to reduce food intake, I’m not talking Gastric Bypass here!
Mark, I work out 4 -5 days a week, try to watch what I eat and DON”T DIET. I have lost 150 pounds in 13 months.
Stay determined and reconsider diets Keith, where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Hi Mark,
You hang in there, be consistent in your regiment and stick with the gym and swimming. I don’t have a weight problem and attribute it to movement. I love to walk and dance. Also, I noticed you didn’t mention anything about changing habits in your diet. Do you like to pig out on junk foods? If so, cut back and you will notice a difference in weight loss in addition to what you are already doing. Good Luck!
